Improved profitability
- We reduce the cost of members' drug purchases by negotiating the best possible discount terms from the pharmaceutical manufacturers which we then pass on in full to our members.
- We also negotiate discounts with other service providers such as pet crematoriums and external laboratories. These are also passed on in full.
- Over 90% of discounts are paid in month following purchase.
Simple and non-restrictive
- We have rebate terms with most of the major pharmaceutical manufacturers so members are not restricted to specific manufacturers.
- We pass on all rebates in full to members and our only charge is a monthly administration fee based on wholesaler account value. There is no administration fee applied to any of the other benefits.
- Members have no restriction on which wholesaler they use.
- There is no joining fee, no minimum length of membership and no termination fee.
Reduced administration
- Members receive a set of monthly financial documents which makes it easy to manage their purchasing administration and check discounts earned.
- We claim and administer all manufacturer discounts on behalf of our members, ensuring swift and accurate payment to practices.
- We provide a monthly statement which consolidates invoices on behalf of the wholesaler, crematoria, labs and administration fee less the manufacturer discounts received to leave the member with a single monthly payment.
Helpful Management Tools
- We send monthly reports to each member which allows them to identify and take advantage of potential purchasing opportunities.
- Our Net Net Price List allows practices to see their true net costs and make informed purchasing decisions – quickly.
- Our monthly SFG Newsletter highlights new products, deals and any other relevant news.
Open, Honest and Professional
- It is important for us that we provide any potential member with an accurate and transparent picture of what savings they could make by joining St Francis Group.
- Therefore, we apply our manufacturer discounts to actual purchase data provided, with the practice's authority, by the relevant wholesaler. We also factor in our monthly administration fee and the practice's existing manufacturer discounts. This gives the practice an accurate reflection of the potential savings available.
- If we are able to show a saving, then we will take the prospective member through a series of reports step by step and describe to them what information and services they can expect from us on a monthly basis. A copy of these reports is given to every prospective member for reference purposes.
- If the reports show that we cannot achieve worthwhile savings for any prospective member we let them know this and explain why this might be. We would not then expect them to join.
